Household auto-renewals are coming
Starting Thursday 14 November 2019, any Aviva Household policies that you manage on our digital-trading platform, Fast Trade, will be eligible for automatic renewal.
What do you need to do?
If there are no changes required to the policy, the Your House and Home Plus business you manage on Fast Trade will automatically renew. You won’t need to do anything at all.
The completely automated process provides you with a simple and seamless renewal process, saving you time to focus on the things that matter in your business and helping to protect your clients from having gaps in their cover between policies.
What if a policy renews when it shouldn’t?
To avoid this happening, you’ll receive a weekly renewal bulletin detailing all of the Aviva Household policies that you manage that are subject to auto-renewal in the coming 28 days.
Just in case any do renew that shouldn’t, we’ve built in a 12-day grace period after the date of renewal to allow you to cancel the policy and re-quote if appropriate.

Enquiry functionality – October delivery
In September, we delivered enquiry functionality on Fast Trade to resolve your frustrations of quote re-submissions.
From 21st October 2019, the second phase of the delivery will go live, with the following products receiving the functionality:
- Office and Surgery
- Professional Indemnity
- Property Owners
- Pubs & Restaurants
- Self Employed
- Shop and Salon.
