Taking care of business

Retaining the title of Insurance Times Commercial Lines Insurer of the year, as well as General Insurer of the year last week, has been a fantastic testament to the fact that we’re continuing to develop our commercial offering in line with the feedback we receive from you.

We started 2018 by introducing Professional Indemnity insurance for SMEs to the Fast Trade product set, to help protect your clients from any dissatisfied customer claims, and give them confidence when it matters most. And we’ve ended it by revitalising our small property owners products. Instead of having separate products with discrete policy wordings and suites of cover, we're now offering residential and commercial property cover in one combined product. And there’s been many other product developments in-between.

We regularly review cover limits and question sets to better fit the needs of you and your customers. This is a part of our strategy to take care of business by simplifying our product range and to provide you and your customers with the flexibility you need.

Throughout 2018 we’ve seen a growing number of you have attended our series of commercial product webinars, giving you the opportunity to hear about the details of the products directly from our underwriters and also ask questions, without having to leave the comfort of your office.

In total in 2018 we’ve held 18 such webinars and over 1000 of our broker contacts have attended at least one of those. It’s a fantastic way to get valuable insight from our experts and also earn CPD points at the same time.

What’s more each of the webinars we hold are recorded and made available for you to watch back at a later date, so don’t worry if you cant make the date. You can access previous webinars through the Aviva Broker website. Simply follow this link and log-in.

We’ll be continuing to hold broker webinar sessions throughout 2019, starting with one on the above-mentioned changes to our Property owners product on 10 January at 11am. Keep an eye out for the registration email coming soon.
