Keeping the fraudsters at bay – quote manipulation

We’ll soon be introducing another layer of fraud protection to guard against would-be fraudsters to protect you and your customers.

For quotes on Private Car and Your Van, we’ll be able to identify those people who are manipulating their information to get access to policies that they might not otherwise be able to access or to get the premium they want. If one of your clients is identified as having manipulated data, our Policy Investigation Unit will be in touch with you to discuss and request further information. 

Do I need to do anything differently?

This process is managed by us so you don’t need to do anything differently. There’ll be no impact for you to the sales process. You’ll only be made aware of a suspected fraud issue during the underwriting referral process if we contact you for additional customer validation.
