Changes to the way you place Minifleet

We’ve listened to feedback from you and made some changes to the processes around our Minifleet product on Fast Trade.

Our Minifleet product is designed to provide cover for businesses that have 3 to 12 vehicles, with either: Fully Comprehensive, Third Party Fire & Theft or Third Party Only cover. The policy can cater for a wide range of vehicle types including private cars, motorcycles, trucks, vans, special types and agricultural vehicles.

To make things simpler, we’ve done the following:

  • Changed the way we display claims to make it easier to provide the required relevant information - We’ll display up to three claims periods all on one page. This was previously split out so only one could be viewed per page.
  • Changed the way you input vehicle details to greatly improve input time, especially when working with larger fleet sizes - You’ll be able to input all vehicle registrations at once, including the ability to cut and paste registration information from your Excel vehicle register (if applicable). We’ll then automatically upload the vehicle details in one go and display a vehicle schedule summary for you to check, edit, delete or confirm. If any vehicle cannot be traced you still have the option of adding it manually.
  • Changed the way we show the breakdown of premium to make it clearer for your clients - Once a policy has been accepted we’ll show a breakdown of premium by vehicle on the Fast Trade premium summary page.

These changes will be live on Fast Trade from Monday 3 July 2017.
