Bright Ideas at BIBA 2017
We love BIBA – the event, the people, the conversations, the buzz, and this year was no different. With a fresh new stand and refreshments a plenty, hosts from all lines of Aviva welcomed brokers onto the stand over the two jam-packed days in Manchester…
Our stand was themed around Bright Ideas and the Good Thinking that has inspired these. We shared how we’re overhauling cover to take on underinsurance as well as alerting clients to their underinsurance risks, plus how we can open the door to successful succession partnerships and more. We also focussed on claims and our journey to drive change in the motor industry and the innovative ways of working to settle claims faster.
While on the stand we invited brokers to give us their own bright ideas as part of our stand competition. Congratulations to Ewan MacDonald from MacDonald Partnership whose Bright Idea entry was drawn as the winner and takes home the Cocoon smart home security device prize! Thank you to everyone that submitted a Bright Idea entry, your ideas as always inspire the thinking behind what we can continue to do for you and your clients.
Day one saw an incredibly busy stand and we took the opportunity to raise a glass with brokers thanking them for their continued support. For day two, we explored another Bright Idea by inviting a team of Ethical Hacker students to give live talks on the stand around Cyber Security and how to keep your personal and business accounts safe online. Teamed up with bacon rolls and fresh smoothies, the two sessions were a real hit with those that attended and proved very timely given the recent Cyber-attacks around the globe. We know Cyber remains a hot topic and we look forward to sharing more around our own proposition and solutions in the near future.
