Aviva Broker Collections Portal
We’re making some changes to our Aviva Broker Collections Portal from 12 February 2017 and it’ll change the way you offer Aviva Credit to customers who are in your office.
Making sure that we all offer credit in the right way to our customers is really important – it’s all about protecting the customer and remaining compliant with the Consumer Credit Act. To make sure this happens, we’ve made some changes to the Aviva Broker Collections Portal.
The Direct Debit Illustration Journey
The Direct Debit Illustration journey will now display the monthly payment amounts as “Representative Example” when the customer wants to finance their policy through Aviva by monthly instalments. The Direct Debit Illustration journey will now ask if your client is a consumer or company.
My Statements Journey
You’ll be asked if you’re selling the policy face to face with your customer. If you are, then there’ll be a new section on screen – your customer needs to read and then accept the credit agreement if they wish to proceed.
The My Statements Journey will now display the monthly payment amounts as “Representative Example” when the customer wants to finance their policy through Aviva by monthly instalments.
Please note: If it’s a commercial policy and it’s possible to identify if the client is a consumer then we’ll provide a representative example.
If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your usual credit controller or Aviva sales manager.
