Important information for Aviva customers traveling to Thailand
Aviva extends its deepest sympathies to those affected by the tragic events in Thailand.
Following the reported explosions across Thailand; the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has recommended that if you’re in the area that you exercise extreme caution, avoid public places and follow the advice of the local security forces.
In recognition of the uncertainty and to help our customers during this time, we’ve extended our standard travel insurance cover for those either in Thailand and who want to come home early or who have a holiday booked to Thailand due to depart on or before the 26 August who want to cancel or rearrange their trip.
Aviva recommends that UK holidaymakers who are either in Thailand, or have plans to travel to the country over the coming days contact their airline or travel provider, in the first instance, for advice on coming home early or cancelling or rearranging their trip.
