Updates from the FCA

As you’ll be aware, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority are now our
Industry’s regulator.

We’re pleased to say that we have now completed the exercise of updating all references to the new regulators on our documents and online. If you use documents provided to you by Aviva, please ensure that the items you hold show the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority and not the Financial Services Authority.

If you do have any items that you usually order from us that show the Financial Services Authority, you will be able to order updated stock of these items from 17 February onwards. Please ensure you stop using old items before the end of March and that any old stock is destroyed.

It may be that you also have documentation, web information, call scripts and other telephony items that mention an Aviva company and its regulatory status with the Financial Services Authority.

If you have, then reference to the Financial Services Authority must be removed before 31 March 2014 and replaced by the correct new regulator. If you are unsure of what changes you need to make, please contact your business development manager who’ll be able to advise you.
