Blended learning – the pathway to effective learning
Now 2014 is in full swing, we’re pleased to announce the introduction of our new Blended Learning Pathways. These hassle-free routes through learning are the latest addition to our existing Aviva Development Zone proposition.
We know that online learning is something you all value and many of you will be familiar with Aviva Development Zone, our market-leading, web-based, learning management tool designed especially for brokers. We recognise that, with so many learning options available and so little time to lose, starting out on your learning journey can be a difficult decision. That's why we’ve introduced Pathways, with the distinct goal of making your journey easier, more efficient and ultimately more relevant through the specially selected content provided.
Learning Pathways are clearly defined, hassle-free routes through subjects that are most important for you, your role and your onward success. They cover the most pertinent topics within each of the subject areas and break them down into "bite-sized" chunks - they’re yours to own and complete.
Our current Development Zone offering has been enhanced with the creation of the following 13 clear Learning Pathways:

• Coaching & Mentoring

• Mandatory Learning & Regulation
• Project Management
• Relationship Management
• Sales Essentials
• Team Development
We’ve called it Blended Learning because many of the Pathways will involve both online and face to face training delivery methods to provide a joined-up, flexible and continuous learning experience. The units are broken down into 15-50 minute sessions so you can learn at your own pace, any time and any place.
