Introducing Jodi Grattidge, Head of High Net Worth

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just appointed Jodi Grattidge as our new Head of High Net Worth. Here’s your chance to find out a little more about her.

So Jodi, how did you get into the insurance industry?
I seem to be one of the few people who actually chose to join the insurance industry! Most people seem to fall into it. I was delighted to be accepted onto the Aviva graduate scheme back in 1996.

How has your previous experience helped you tackle your new role as Head of High Net Worth?
I have worked in many parts of Aviva from running our national broker underwriting teams to managing our marketing and propositions team so I feel I’ve a really great understanding of our business. In all of my roles I’ve worked very closely with brokers so I hope to bring my experience to our high net worth business.

Can you tell us a bit about your new team?
So far I have been really impressed with the team! We’ve a dedicated team of very experienced underwriters in Norwich who specialise in high net worth underwriting; they really do have all the experience and skills needed to write this business. We also have a team of development underwriters who work across the country alongside our Aviva Business Development Managers, working with brokers to get the right solutions for their clients. As part of the wider team, we also work very closely with our dedicated claims team in Perth for home and Stretford for motor. Again, these guys have a vast amount of experience dealing with private client business, so they understand the needs and expectations of these types of customers. It’s a real privilege working with such talented people.

What can brokers expect from the high net worth team going forward?
Over the last few years, we’ve been working quietly in the background improving our claims and underwriting capabilities to make sure our service really matches yours and your client’s expectations. We’ve made many improvements based on your feedback. In the New Year, we’ll be relaunching our Distinct Motor product. Overall, you can expect continued consistency and increased support to work together to grow your business.
