What customer need is met by this product?

This product is designed to provide financial protection if a motor accident caused by the insured driver results in injury to any other person, or damage to their vehicle or property. It also provides cover for the policyholders own vehicle(s) in the event of fire, theft and malicious or accidental damage.

Who is this product designed for?

All vehicle owners who must legally insure their vehicles or who have vehicles of higher worth requiring comprehensive cover. Multiple vehicles and drivers may be covered by the same insurance policy.

Key Eligibility Criteria:

  • Drivers ages 17-84 years old for new business.
  • Existing customers aged over 84 years old may continue to renew their motor insurance policy if certain Underwriting criteria are met.
  • Vehicle type restriction by policyholder age applies.

Who is this product not designed to support, or are there any features that you should be aware of when considering this product for your customer?

  • Customers who require a TPFT motor insurance policy.
  • Cover may be available for certain vehicle types e.g. classic cars, sports cars and high value vehicles through different policies e.g. High Net Worth or Classic Car propositions. Customers are advised to compare cover and price to ensure it meets their specific needs.
