What is a boiler health check?
When your customer first purchases Aviva Response, we will arrange an appointment with them to come and carry out a boiler health check at their property. This is to ensure the boiler meets our eligibility criteria and is in a fit state of repair at the time of purchase. Should the boiler fail the health check, the policy may be cancelled. We can offer to carry out remedial work to get the boiler back on its feet, but this will not be covered by the Response policy and will be subject to additional costs.
